Privacy Policy
At Conferencing Center, we value your privacy, and Conferencing Center has created this Privacy Policy to describe generally how Conferencing Center collects, uses and transfers the Personal Information about you that is collected by Conferencing Center through the Site. The term "Personal Information" means information that identifies you personally, alone or in combination with other information available to us. Your Personal Information may include your name, your e-mail address or your telephone number.
Please review this Privacy Policy. By using the Site or by otherwise providing any Personal Information to Conferencing Center you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your personally identifiable information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the use of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy, please do not provide any Personal Information about yourself to Conferencing Center.
Collection and Use of Personal Information: We will ask you to provide us with information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you ("Personal Information") when, among other things; you register on any Conferencing Center Sites, use one of our services, fill out a survey, make a request for information or enter a sweepstakes or contest through the Conferencing Center Sites. Because of the nature of our products and services, we must collect Personal Information such as first and last name and email address, from moderators, participants and other users of our services. During the registration process we collect contact information such as, first and last name, mailing address, company name, title or position, e-mail address, and phone number. We may also collect financial information such as a valid credit card number to process payment for service.
Service Use: We will use the Personal Information that you provide us in these circumstances to operate the Conferencing Center Sites, to provision, deliver, operate features, bill and collect for services as well as provide information that you request from the Conferencing Center Sites. We may use your Personal Information to notify you about updates or free upgrades to products you have previously purchased or to inform you about critical technical issues relating to our services. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications if you wish to continue using our services. Our products and services by necessity require us to provide some Personal Information to third parties. For example, when you use Conferencing Center services to conduct a meeting, we will provide some Personal Information about each participant to you as the moderator as well as to other participants in your meeting. In addition, we will share some of your Personal Information with credit card companies as necessary to bill and collect for our services.
Secondary Use: Unless you instruct us not to do so, Conferencing Center may also use the Personal Information that you provide us to contact you regarding additional or new services and features offered by Conferencing Center special offers by Conferencing Center, third party promotions that are administered by Conferencing Center, or other information regarding Conferencing Center and our services. If you do not wish to receive such contact, please let us know by emailing us at webmaster@conferencingcenter.com.
Referral Use: We may use Personal Information that you provide us if you elect to use our referral services. If you elect to inform a friend about our site, we ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting the friend to visit the site. To request the removal of this information from our database, your friend may contact Conferencing Center by sending a message to webmaster@conferencingcenter.com.
Supplementation of Information: At times it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive from you with information from third party sources. For example, Conferencing Center verifies the billing address on all credit card transactions and may obtain credit reports for corporate customers. The information obtained from these third party sources is maintained in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy.
If Conferencing Center shares any Personal Information with third-parties, it does so to the extent allowed by law and regulation. Conferencing Center may share the Personal Information about you with its third party service providers for or on behalf of Conferencing Center. These companies are not authorized to use your Personal Information for any other purpose and they are bound by contract to treat all of your Personal Information as confidential. Conferencing Center may also share your Personal Information with Conferencing Center's corporate affiliates, which can use your information only in the manner that Conferencing Center does.
Disclosure for Legal Purposes: We may disclose Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary: (a) to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, (b) in the event of a tax audio or other investigation, (c) to protect and defend our rights or property or those of our users, (d) to act immediately to protect the personal safety of our users or the public, (e) in connection with a merger, consolidation or sale of substantial assets of Conferencing Center or (f) as necessary to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions and policies regarding the use of our services. In addition, if Conferencing Center sells assets to another entity, or is acquired by, or merged with, another entity, Conferencing Center may provide to such entity Personal Information that is related to that part of our business that was sold to or merged with the other entity without your consent.
Access: After you create a moderator or participant account to use services offered by Conferencing Center, Conferencing Center will send you a confirmation that includes some or all of the Personal Information that we obtained from your account creation. You will not receive a confirmation in other cases in which you may provide Personal Information to Conferencing Center, such as when joining an ad-hoc meeting or scheduled event, or when accessing stored documents or recordings. Whenever possible, we will take reasonable steps to give you the opportunity to confirm and/or modify Personal Information associated with your moderator or participant account through the content management web-based interface or client interface. Alternatively, you may contact us at webmaster@conferencingcenter.com to update or change your Personal Information, as well as change your email subscription status to receive our newsletter, email marketing communications and third-party promotions.
Security: Conferencing Center maintains reasonable physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personally identifiable information. The Personal Information that we collect from you is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the general public. In the case of credit card numbers and other financial information we redirect you to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our site. Nevertheless, we remind you that no security measure is perfect and Conferencing Center cannot guarantee the security of information provided over the Internet. In addition, the other sites that you may access through the Conferencing Center Sites may have different security practices and you should familiarize yourself with those practices.
Cookies: When you access the Site, Conferencing Center may use "cookies" and related technologies to collect what is commonly called "click-stream data," to track your use of the Site and to provide you with better service. Persistent cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on the Conferencing Center Sites. We use persistent cookies for purposes such as tracking movement on the Conferencing Center Sites, managing your login process and limiting the display messages to the same user more than once. We do not store your passwords in cookies. We treat any personal information that may be contained in cookies with the same level of protection as other Personal Information you provide to us.

It may also contain links to third-party websites that neither Conferencing Center nor Conferencing Center's affiliates control. This Privacy Policy applies only to Personal Information collected through this Site and does not apply to Personal Information collected on any other website operated by Conferencing Center, nor by Conferencing Center's affiliates, nor to Personal Information collected on third-party websites.

Retention of Personal Information: Conferencing Center retains Personal Information only as long as necessary to provide the services and information you request or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable laws.
Governing Laws: Conferencing Center is a domestic corporation. This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms of Use and as such shall be governed under the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions.
Concerns of Violations: If at any time you believe that we have violated any of these Policies, please notify us by email at webmaster@conferencingcenter.com and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly investigate and remedy the problem.
